ArcPrime's e-signature workflow lets you collect inventor signatures on disclosure and case documents electronically, without paper forms, wet signatures, or third-party signing tools.
Key Capabilities
Document-based signing -- Signatures are collected on documents configured for your workspace, such as assignments and declarations. Each document can be limited to inventors from certain countries or to cases filed in certain countries.
Guided signing page -- Inventors open a secure link, step through each field, and draw their signature on screen.
Status tracking -- See at a glance whether each inventor is Not sent, Pending, or Signed, and hover to check individual documents.
Reminders -- Send a reminder with one click, or let ArcPrime send them on a schedule and alert counsel when the limit is reached.
Audit trail -- Every signing event is logged in the correspondence panel, with the signed documents available for download.
How It Works
After a disclosure is approved and inventors are confirmed, counsel opens the Document signing entry on the disclosure and clicks Send Signature Docs. ArcPrime creates a signing request for each applicable document and emails each inventor a link. Patents have the same Inventor signatures table, so declarations for a filed case follow the same path.
The inventor opens the link, reviews the document, and completes the fields one by one. Fields include the signature, printed name, date, and any residence details the document asks for. When the last field is done, the inventor sends the completed documents back to ArcPrime.
Counsel monitors progress in the table and can click Send Reminder for anyone still pending. Documents and reminder rules are managed by your administrator in Signature Settings.
