This article explains how to find specific patents in your portfolio using ArcPrime's search and filter tools.

Steps

  1. Open Patents from the sidebar to reach the patent list.

  2. Click the Filter button in the top-right area of the list header. A filter bar appears below the header.

  3. Select one or more filter types from the available dropdowns:

    • Status β€” Filter by internal status (e.g., Filed, Granted, Abandoned). Select multiple statuses to include all of them.

    • Country β€” Filter by filing jurisdiction. Each country displays its flag for quick identification.

    • Category β€” Filter by taxonomy category. ArcPrime shows your configured category hierarchy.

    • Filing Date β€” Set a start and end date to show patents filed within that range.

    • Grant Date β€” Show only patents granted within a specific date range.

    • Creation Date β€” Filter by when the patent record was created in ArcPrime.

    • Updated Date β€” Filter by when the patent record was last modified.

    • Assignees β€” Filter by assignee name.

    • Labels β€” Filter by any labels applied to your patents.

    • Detectability β€” Filter by detectability rating (Low, Medium, High).

  4. The patent list updates automatically as you adjust each filter. Active filters stack, so the list shows only patents matching all selected criteria.

  5. To remove all filters at once, click Reset all filters on the right side of the filter bar.

Tip: You can sort the filtered results by clicking column headers that support sorting, such as Filing Date, Internal ID, or Quality Score. An arrow icon indicates the current sort direction.
