The Idea Triage Board is where counsel reviews, evaluates, and acts on ideas extracted from Inventor Interviews. It provides a structured workflow for moving ideas from raw interview output to formal invention disclosures.
Key Capabilities
Status tabs -- Switch between Pending, Approved, and Rejected to focus on ideas that need attention.
Campaign filter -- Click Filter and pick a campaign to narrow the table.
Duplicate and overlap badges -- ArcPrime flags an idea that resembles another idea, an existing disclosure, or a patent.
Row and bulk actions -- Convert, reject, or merge ideas one at a time or in a batch.
Idea Details page -- Open any idea to read its full description, review possible duplicates, and message the inventors.
How It Works
After each Inventor Interview, ArcPrime extracts structured ideas and places them on the board as Pending. Each row shows the idea title, its campaign, the technology it maps to, the inventor, and the extraction date.
Counsel then takes one of three actions: convert the idea to a disclosure, reject it with a reason, or request more information from the inventor. An idea that looks like something already known carries a Possible duplicate badge, or Similar prior art when the match is a patent. Open the idea to see the matching record and its reason: Likely duplicate, Possible extension, or Same domain, different approach. Merge the ideas before converting.
Select several rows to reveal a bar with Reject, Merge, and Convert to Disclosure for the whole selection. Converted ideas show Go to Disclosure so you can jump to the new record.
