Inventor List: Manage Your Inventor Records

Browse and manage all inventor records in ArcPrime with the searchable, filterable inventor list view and detail pages

Written by Jonathan Liu

The inventor list is your central directory for every inventor in your patent portfolio. It connects inventor contact information to their disclosures, patents, and awards in one place.

The Inventors list page showing the search field, the New Inventor button, and a table with the Name, Email, Status, Disclosures, Patents, Awards, and Update Date columns, with one row showing a Placeholder Inventor tag

Key Capabilities

  • Complete inventor directory — Store names, legal names, work and personal email, phone, home and work addresses, and citizenship for every inventor.

  • Inventor type tags — Records created with an unapproved email domain are tagged Placeholder Inventor or Inactive Inventor. The tag tells you which inventors can sign in.

  • Association tracking — Disclosure, patent, and award columns sit beside each inventor, and the details view lists the records behind them.

  • Search and filter — Find inventors by name or email, then narrow the list with the filter panel.

  • Sortable columns — Sort by Disclosures, Patents, Awards, or Update Date.

  • Bulk selection — Select several inventors for batch operations.

How It Works

Open Inventors > List from the top navigation. ArcPrime shows a paginated table with Name, Email, Status, Disclosures, Patents, Awards, and Update Date columns. Enter a name or email in Search Inventors... and press Enter to narrow the list.

Click a row, or select View Details from its three-dot menu, to open Inventor Details. The Contact Info panel shows the inventor's Status, additional contact details, Home Address, and Work Address. Tabs for Disclosures and Patents list every submission and patent family associated with that inventor.

The same menu offers Edit and Delete. Click New Inventor in the top-right corner to create a record. See How to Add an Inventor for the fields and the email-domain check.
