Prerequisites
To pin a report, save it first. See saving and managing reports.
Steps
Open Patents > Portfolio > Overview and click Customize. The header switches to Cancel and Save View.
Add a widget. Hover an empty area of the grid until a plus button appears, then click it. Choose from General (the built-in charts and cards) or My Reports (your saved reports).
Hide a widget by clicking the minus button in its top-right corner. Hidden widgets return to the add list.
Drag a widget by its title area to move it, and drag the handle in its corner to resize it.
Change how a report widget renders. In Customize mode, each report shows a Bar, Line, Pie, or Table switch, limited to the views its data supports.
Click Save View. The layout is stored for you and restored on your next visit. Click Cancel to discard every change since you entered Customize mode.
Keep report widgets fresh
Read the Last run label under a report widget to see how old its data is.
Click Actions > Rerun all reports to refresh every pinned report. Widgets update as the reruns finish.
Click Actions > View My Reports to open the saved report list, or Actions > Print to PDF to export the current dashboard.
Pin a report from My Reports
Open Reports in the top navigation and click My Reports.
Click the three-dot menu on a report card and select Add to Strategy. The report appears on the Overview page the next time you open it.
Tip: Pin scalar reports, such as the number of cases filed this year. They render as large single-number cards that scan well in a printed deck.
