The Overview page under Patents > Portfolio gives you a consolidated view of portfolio composition, spending, and filing activity. It is a widget grid you can rearrange, and any report you save in the Report Generator can be pinned to it and kept fresh.
Key Capabilities
Portfolio statistics — Total Spend over the last ten years and Number of Cases currently active.
Composition charts — Active Case Count by Country and Case Stages sunbursts, with hover percentages and counts.
Filing and spend trends — The Active Cases - Annual Spend chart plots filed, pending, and granted counts against estimated spend by year.
Saved report widgets — Pin any saved report as a bar, line, pie, or table widget and rerun all of them from one menu.
Customizable layout — Add, hide, resize, and drag widgets, then save the view.
Print to PDF — Export the whole dashboard for board and leadership decks.
How It Works
Open Patents > Portfolio > Overview. The dashboard loads with the general widgets for your whole portfolio. Hover any sunburst segment to see its name, percentage, and count.
Click Customize to enter edit mode. Hover an empty slot and click the plus button to add a widget from the General or My Reports sections, or use the minus button to hide one. Click Save View when you are done, or Cancel to discard the changes. Your layout is saved for you.
Click Actions for Rerun all reports, Print to PDF, and View My Reports. Report widgets show when they last ran, and rerunning refreshes them within about half a minute.
