π· The Dashboard showing task groups organized by status with filter chips and grouping options
Before You Begin
Your account should have the Administrator or Internal Counsel role. See User Roles and Permissions to confirm your access level.
Familiarize yourself with the main navigation if you have not already.
Step 1: Orient Yourself on the Dashboard
The Dashboard is your home screen. It shows tasks across your patent portfolio grouped by status: upcoming, in progress, and completed. Each task card shows the case name, task type, assignee, and due date.
Use the filter chips at the top to narrow tasks by type (disclosures, OA responses, signatures) or by internal counsel assignment. Change the grouping and sort order using the Display button.
Step 2: Review Your Patent Portfolio
Hover over Patents in the navigation bar and select List. This page shows all patents in your workspace with columns for status, filing date, assignees, and more. Use the search and filter tools at the top to find specific cases.
For a strategic view, hover over Patents and select Strategy. This opens the analytics area with tabs for:
Taxonomy β Classify your portfolio into technology categories and see coverage across each area.
Portfolio β Visualize your portfolio by filing year, status, jurisdiction, and other dimensions.
Competitive Landscape β Compare your patent holdings against competitors.
Pruning β Review AI recommendations for which patents to renew or abandon based on value, detectability, and family coverage.
Claim Charts β View assertability analysis against competitor products.

Step 4: Generate Reports
Click Reports in the navigation bar. ArcPrime offers natural-language report generation. Describe what you want to see, and ArcPrime builds the report. You can also save reports for recurring use.
Step 5: Monitor Inventor Activity
Click Inventors in the navigation bar to see all inventors in your workspace. View their submission history, associated disclosures, and patents. This page helps you track inventor engagement and identify active contributors.
