Before You Begin
Your account should have the Internal Paralegal role. See User Roles and Permissions to confirm your access level.
Review Navigating the Interface for a tour of the navigation bar and settings.
Step 1: Start with the Dashboard
The Dashboard is your daily starting point. It shows all pending tasks across your workspace, grouped by status. Signature requests, disclosure reviews, and correspondence items appear here as task cards. Click any task to jump to the relevant patent or disclosure.
Use the filter chips at the top to narrow tasks by type. If you manage signatures, filtering by signature-related tasks gives you a focused view of what needs follow-up.
Step 2: Manage Patent Correspondence
Hover over Patents in the navigation bar and select List to see all patents. Open a patent to view its detail page, where the Documents tab contains all correspondence and filings.
ArcPrime can auto-detect case stage changes from email traffic. Open Settings and click Email Tracking under My Account to configure your workspace's email tracking address. When correspondence is sent to this address, ArcPrime logs it and updates case status.
Step 3: Collect Inventor Signatures
Signature collection is managed from the patent or disclosure detail page. When documents require inventor signatures:
Open the patent or disclosure that needs signatures.
Look for the signature section in the document area.
ArcPrime sends signature requests to the listed inventors. You can track who has signed and who has not.
Send reminders to inventors who have not yet signed.
Configure automated reminders in Settings under Signatures & Reminders. Set the reminder frequency and timing to reduce manual follow-up.

Step 4: Track Disclosure Status
Click Disclosures in the navigation bar and select List. This page shows all disclosures with their current stage (submitted, under review, approved, sent to counsel). Use filters to find disclosures by status, inventor, or date range.
Open a disclosure to view its full history, attached documents, and AI-generated analysis.
Step 5: Generate Reports
Click Reports in the navigation bar. Describe the report you need in natural language -- for example, "Show all patents filed in the last 6 months with their current status." ArcPrime generates the report, which you can save for recurring use.
Reports are useful for periodic updates to leadership, tracking filing activity, and monitoring outside counsel deliverables.
