The patent detail view is the single-page summary for any patent in your portfolio. It brings together status, metadata, claims, descriptions, AI insights, tasks, documents, correspondence, and family relationships so you can understand and act on a patent without switching between tools.

Key Capabilities
Sidebar overview — See the patent's status, case type, priority date, filing date, expiration date, Internal ID, External ID, application number, publication number, patent number, assigned counsel, custom fields, linked projects, and labels at a glance.
Patent Info tab — View AI-generated summaries, strategy analytics, claims, and description text. Scroll to each section using the sidebar navigation.
Tasks tab — View open and completed tasks, create new tasks, and track deadlines tied to this patent.
Documents tab — Upload, view, and manage documents associated with the patent.
Correspondence — Access all tracked correspondence, including emails and their attachments, from the sidebar link.
Family context — See all related applications in the extended family, grouped by filing year, with country flags and quick links to each case.
Notes — Add, edit, star, and manage notes on the patent or across family members.
How It Works
Click any patent row in the patent list to open its detail view. The page is divided into two areas. The left sidebar shows key metadata and navigation. The main content area displays one of three tabs: Patent Info, Tasks, or Documents.
Use the sidebar links to jump to specific sections within the Info tab, such as AI Summary, Strategy, Claims, or Description. Click Correspondence in the sidebar to view tracked emails and documents. Click the edit icon at the top of the sidebar to open the edit drawer where you can modify all patent fields.
