Patent List: Your Portfolio at a Glance

Navigate ArcPrime's patent list view to browse, search, filter, and manage records across your entire portfolio

Written by Jonathan Liu

The patent list is your central hub for viewing, searching, and managing every patent in your portfolio. Check the status of a single filing or review hundreds of families from one table. The list gives you fast, flexible access to all your patent data.

Key Capabilities

  • Filters — Narrow the list by status, country, technology, case type, expiration window, dates, assignee, label, detectability, counsel, or any custom field. Combine filters to target exactly the records you need.

  • Display settings — Show, hide, and search for columns, including a separate thumbnail column and your workspace's custom fields. Your choices are saved to your account.

  • Bulk editing — Select patent families and apply a new status, technology, label, counsel, or date to all of them in one operation.

  • Export — Select the families you want, then download a CSV of your displayed columns. Exports run in the background, so you can keep working.

  • Sorting — Sort by Internal ID, Expiration Date, Detectability, Filing Date, Grant Date, Creation Date, Updated Date, or Labels.

  • Row actions — Right-click any row, or click its three-dot menu, to edit the patent or add a family member. A Copy submenu copies the title, link, or docket numbers.

How It Works

Open Patents > Portfolio > List from the navigation bar. Patents are displayed as one row per family. Click a row to open the patent detail view for that family's anchor case.

Above the table sit the Filter button, the Display dropdown for columns, and the Add Patent button. Selecting one or more rows opens a footer bar with the selection count, Select All Patents, Export, and Edit. Family and patent counts appear beside the pagination controls.
