Screening projects let you group patents for focused analysis, competitive research, and claim charting. Whether you are preparing a licensing program or sizing up a target's portfolio, a screening project gives you a dedicated workspace.
Key Capabilities
Guided patent selection — The Add Patents wizard scores your patents against a target company's products or your own library documents.
Any patent source — Screen your own portfolio, an external company's portfolio, or a pasted list of patent numbers.
Infringement scoring — Sort the project by Infringement % and expand a row to see the matched products and the reasoning.
Analytics — Review the project through the Taxonomy, Charts, and Watch List views scoped to its patents.
Bulk actions — Select patents to export, remove, or run deep research in bulk.
Notes and collaboration — Keep project notes, with file attachments, next to the patent list.
How It Works
Open Patents > Intelligence > Screening. The list shows each project's name, description, number of patents, creation date, and last activity. Click Add Screening Project to create one; ArcPrime then opens the Add Patents wizard so you can build the patent set straight away.
Click a project to open Screening Project Details. The Patent List tab shows the patents with Deep Research Report, Infringement %, and Notes columns. It offers the same filters and Display column options as the patent list. The Analytics tab holds the taxonomy breakdown, claim charts, and watch list comparison.
Patents from an external portfolio appear in the same list and open a read-only patent page. Infringement scores and reasoning are AI-generated; review them before acting on them.
