Global search gives you one place to find anything in your portfolio. Enter a keyword, a docket number, or an application or patent number, or describe a concept in your own words. ArcPrime returns matching patent families and trademarks. Combined with filters and sortable columns, global search helps you locate the exact record you need in seconds.
Key Capabilities
Search from anywhere — The Search... box sits in the navigation bar on every page, so you never leave your work to look something up.
Concept search — Long, descriptive searches return the right families even when the patent uses different words from yours. Results are ranked by relevance.
Section filter — Open Search only to limit matching to Claims, Specification, or Abstract when you need precision.
Autocomplete — After three characters, ArcPrime suggests matching records so you can open one directly without a full search.
Patents and trademarks together — The results page shows a Patents tab and a Trademarks tab, each with its count.
Filtering and sorting — Narrow results by status, country, technology, dates, assignees, labels, detectability, case type, or counsel. Sort by any sortable column.
Display and export — Choose which columns to show, and export the results to CSV in search order.
How It Works
Click the Search... box in the navigation bar and enter your term. Suggestions appear as you type; click one to open that record. Press Enter to open the results page, where each row is a patent family. Results appear immediately and their details fill in as they load. Click a row to open the patent detail view, or hold Cmd (Mac) or Ctrl (Windows) while clicking to open it in a new tab.
Above the table, Filter opens the same filter panel as the patent list, and Display controls the columns. Any Search only sections you chose appear as removable chips above the results. At the bottom of the table, pagination and a count of matching families help you move through large result sets.
