Prerequisites

  • You have admin or settings access in your ArcPrime workspace.

Understanding the Monthly Report

At the end of each month, ArcPrime emails in-house counsel and paralegals a report titled with your company name and Patent Recommendations. It analyzes your whole portfolio and recommends actions. These include which families to keep or prune, which continuations are worth filing, and where deep research could add the most value.

The report includes sections such as Readiness Report, Pruning, CON Opportunities, Deep Research Candidates, and High-Touch Cases. It also summarizes what changed since last month. Review each recommendation before acting on it.

Steps

Set the Lead Time

  1. Open Settings from the sidebar.

  2. Under AI Recommendations, select Monthly Newsletter. The page is titled Monthly Recommendation.

  3. In the Lead Time field, enter a whole number of days between 1 and 365. The default is 90.

  4. Click Save in the footer bar.

Recommendations include items with deadlines within this many days of the report date. With a 30-day lead time, April's report includes items due into May.

Open a Past Report

  1. Scroll to Report History. Each row shows the month the report covered.

  2. Click Open report. The report opens in a new browser tab.

  3. Use the pagination controls below the list to reach older reports. The list reads No reports sent yet. until the first report goes out.

Stop Receiving the Email

  1. Under My Account, select Notifications.

  2. Turn off Monthly Patent Recommendations and click Save. Other recipients in your workspace continue to receive it.

Note: The email is sent on the last day of the month, three days after ArcPrime generates it. Changes to the lead time affect the next report, not one already generated.
